might also be interesting if a specific tab could be implemented on a tourney page (or separately/as a filter to the already existing scrim page) to indicate what teams are looking for a warmup scrim (usually for an hour before the tourney itself)

scrim and it would be nice to have that listed so you could see on a glance (without having to hit the comments, which people rarely do from my experience)

it would be nice to have some sort of visual indicator that the requester prefers discord dms to the on site communication. and with that a way to choose who shows up on top to better indicate who to dm

also some sort of range of time to start would be nice. sometimes my team can do an 8 or 9 pm

finally got a response from hr last night and the official offer today (one day before my last day lmao)

i cannot express how incredibly relieved i am and just how much i cried last night. very excited for new prospects and more molec bio work!!

i start monday!!!!

still waiting on hr but my new pi does not seem concerned so that’s a huge sigh of relief. the timeline will vary based on hr’s decision but i do not think i’m at risk of losing my new job like it seemed

so incredibly tired after all the stress yesterday but now i can calm down. thank god man

my new job is perfect. a lot will change as i learn and actually get independent with my experiments. but the environment is so healthy and everyone likes each other. all my coworkers are women and our pi gives us work life balance and flexibility. the lab has enough funding. it’s perfect

sam has been my coach for probably around 2 years now. both for my teams (3 of them!) and individually. he has such a good grasp of the game and offers really good advice. anytime he’s not sure it becomes a convo too.

yea! i was mostly lucky coincidence. i was teammates with parias at the time and he was mentioning needing some help with verification for lsl. so i offered! did that on and off for awhile. then when jub wasn’t available so they asked the staff about streaming. i offered having 0 experience

idk how old you are, but i am so so so nostalgic for air ride and the new game looks so clean. back when i had roomies we would still play from time to time, and still do when i go visit them. anyway i'm getting a switch 2 just for that game
