Although I'm leaving out the part where the kitten #TaviKitty fell in the bathtub and scratched my leg on her climb out. That was slightly less serene but fortunately more comical than painful. I love that #NiftyKitty our older cat came in immediately to check on us after the ruckus.

When I woke up this morning the darkness just felt so heavy so I asked myself to take a bath and listen to my book to wake up and warm up. I'm glad I did because the timing worked out it started snowing right as I left for #MentalHealthWalkies and it was very pretty and peaceful.

Today on #MentalHealthWalkies the nicest garbage truck driver named Jeff stopped his truck, waved, and asked if he could give #SmokeyDingo a treat. Smokey is always so aggressive to the trucks it was really nice this guy came out. Smokey got treats and scritches and did his tricks and was so happy.

My congressman talked a big game about restoring power to Congress when he was campaigning and here we are watching illegal wars and he's completely silent on the checks and balances front.
According to Reddit users DoorDash is doing "experimental" price testing on users. The account with higher delivery fees is being flooded with more discount codes which technically would negate the difference. Still hate it. F u capitalism.

I have two DoorDash accounts, one for work & one for personal orders. Today as I switched between them I noticed the delivery fee was $1.49 on one and $4.49 on the other at the same resto. I do not have dashpass on either account so it's not that.

the owners of the team came to the Spokane Tribe in 2006 and asked about changing the name. The Tribe came back and said don't change it, instead use it to honor the history and began a very intentional partnership to support local education and conservative efforts.

morrow thought that the process didn't "honor the integrity of staff," (maybe referencing that staff were removed from a public meeting? rangemedia.co/city-budget-... ) They're mostly in support of the amendment but not the process by which it was brought forward.
