Covid was a weird time for Wildlife Programme soundtracks. The small scale of Ilan Eshkeri's A Perfect Planet score makes it one of my favourites in the genre. If you love the Sims, go give it a listen.

The section on Greenland icesheets is particularly harrowing. I'd assumed it was written recently, only to get to the end and find out it was written in 2009. I was 6 then.

There is something really dark about reading older articles on climate change and ecological collapse. I've almost finished Patrick Barkham's collection of Guardian articles, some of which hold just as much weight today and when they were written in a decade and a half ago.

I agree it's absolutely terrifying. When random trans people makes national news for being "in the wrong place" 🙄 it makes basic stuff like doing your job or going to the loo anxiety inducing. It's just something a lot of cis folks don't even consider, but reality for us trans people.
