Just finished reading “On Writing” by Stephen King. I don’t think of myself as a writer, but I am a storyteller and it was the inspiration I needed to get out of a funk. Upward momentum.

How times have changed. A US border security officer just threw my passport back at me with disdain. Why? Maybe he didn’t like that I’m a dual US/Canadian citizen who currently lives in Canada? Does it help or hurt that I’m a person of color? Is this how America is going to be great?
