In many places in Iran, nature's water sources are under pressure from unsustainable water use. With groundwater systems depleted due to decades of mismanagement, local farmers left with no choice but to divert river water to sustain their crops, harming the natural ecosystem.
This scene caught me; it feels like a pause, still, grounded, but alive with quiet growth. Sometimes that’s all I need. Even in what appears to be loss, nature is always rebuilding and transforming. Nothing truly disappears here; it becomes part of something else.
