Take Dani’s word for it: I deliver careful, nuanced editing of smut for any and all species (even humans). I also edit non-smut fiction.

I do free sample edits, and I have openings for fall and winter. Check out czedits.com or direct message me here.
This level of nuance is why I’m proud to have you as my editor. You’re going to have fun with the cephalopod smut
If I love a book (and I so love this one), I often put it into my listening rotation after I read it. Glad to hear that you like the narrator!
If there's a teen in your life applying to college, and you or they need support and guidance, I highly recommend my sister-in-law. She was invaluable to us, from making lists to helping with essays to giving us some advice that garnered a hefty scholarship for one of our kids. DM me for more info.
Important news alert! I have just started reading the book, and the dogs are corgis. I repeat, THE DOGS ARE CORGIS.
I doubt I'll write a romance novel, but the ideas I've noodled around are set in the invertebrate zoology department of a natural history museum.
Then the Stars Fall by Brandon Witt. Small-town romance between a veterinarian and a father/widower.
Every Time I Think of You by Jim Provenzano. A coming-of-age novel set in my home state of Pennsylvania during my teen years (late 1970s). He didn't write it for me, but he could have.
First You Fall by Scott Sherman. A murder mystery featuring a hustler-turned-sleuth.
It's a verrry long time since I watched ToS!
A great listen! (Lovely Texas twang for one character.) The people genuinely mean well by each other. They don't always do the right thing, but angst is low. The teen brothers aren't quite right for their ages and the sex scenes were a bit lacking in feeling, but recommended nonetheless.
The Nothingness of Ben by Brad Boney. A high-powered Manhattan attorney suddenly has to return home and raise his brothers instead. And we all know what happens when fancy big-city types go back where they came from...
Pour one out for the orgasms of yesteryear.
That is an absolutely glorious shade of purple!
Lt. Mary Sue, the only redshirt in history not to die in a landing party!

(I know, I know; the expendable redshirts were generally ensigns.)

Thank you for that!
Oof, those missed opportunities can haunt a person.

You never know; it sounds like the sort of thing that might show up on eBay.
I never knew it had a specific source! It must be very odd to be whoever wrote the fic that spawned a term with so much reach.
It’s novel to me to feel like the young one in the room these days, so thank you for that!

My husband and I effectively changed our surnames to our ship name when we got married! (Zatz + Black -> Zable)
I stand corrected—I’m a generation too young to know those details.
Fun with Dick and Shane by Gillibran Brown. Memoir about a gay domestic discipline ménage à trois.
Caregiver by Rick R. Reed. Romance between Dan and the bereaved partner of an AIDS patient whom Dan supported through illness and death. Comes highly reviewed, but possibly a tough read for those of us who remember the early years of the AIDS crisis.
A Shared Range by Andrew Grey. A cowboy who's taking care of his dad (who has MS) meets a cute vet while on vacation.
Billy's Bones by Jamie Fessenden. Sounds very disturbing, with a deep history of old hurts, but has a very positive review from someone whose judgment I trust. TBR someday when I'm feeling strong.
The Cranberry Hush by Ben Monopoli. Second-chance romance for a nerdy comic-book-shop employee with his old high school crush.
The Nothingness of Ben by Brad Boney. A high-powered Manhattan attorney suddenly has to return home and raise his brothers instead. And we all know what happens when fancy big-city types go back where they came from...
