I kinda like the idea that someone didn't stop evil team so&so and their plans kinds wiped humanity off the face of the earth. Team Flare, Aqua, Magma, etc, could have caused so much damage that humanity stopped existing slowly. Gives you more to play with world building or just subtly suggest it.

It's probably designed around 30fps. Doubling the framerate would probably involve tweaking animations across every character and item. Honestly, 30 fps is fine for animal crossing. it's not like it needs it like other games like TTYD. That game could use it.

Gamefreak has been trying to have some darker skin tones since 5th generation with pokemon Black and White with it being based around New York which is much more diverse in its people than previous Japan based regions. I think Za has done the best job so far though, love the different nurses.

I remember seeing a boxed copy of leaf green at a shop going for 2k and sighed. Even a loose copy of emerald on ebay goes for around 200 usd. Im glad I bought most of my games that I wanted before 2020.

I think the afroheaded 'Gocule' is the one that comes to goku's mind when Gohan gets absorbed and goku is trying to find someone to fuse with. His choices being between dende and Hurcule/Mr Satan being less than ideal.

Yea the games aren't perfect but the legends titles feel like they have the soul of the series that hasn't been around since the transition to the 3ds era. Im one of the few, apparently, that didn't hate sun and moon but I'd rather them over sword/shield. Im having fun again and that's what matters.

I love looking at actual pokemon heights. Pikachu is a foot tall, raichu 2 feet. Then the eeveelutions are all varying heights which is amusing because you'd think they'd be more uniform.

Yes, but that's not important here. In Japan, you have an expectation to do what your 'superior' expects of you. In this case, while nintendo isn't their boss, they are the reason they can make money as they do so they will bend over backward, rush, etc. to make sure that Nintendo is happy.

That's not exactly correct. Yes, nintendo doesn't own gamefreak, but there is a lot of pressure there from Nintendo. Nintendo owns 1/3 of the pokemon ip, and the only reason pokemon exists in the first place is because of Nintendo's backing. Gamefreak can't do anything with pokemon without Nintendo.

Im playing on switch 2 and the game looks a lot better than s/v. Ive seen my mom playing the switch 1 version (which has the cleaner boxart) and outside of the lower framerate, it looks very similar.

Sv didnt have the palworld lawsuits running in the background when the game came out iirc. People have always crapped on nintendo but now people have still running lawsuits they dont agree with to feed that vitriol. They feel righteous in their anger and will take it out on anyone enjoying the game.

People are mad about the lawsuits, lack of polish, dlc announcements for some reason, ect. They were going to hate this game regardless. Also people have a mob mentality and will jump on the hate bandwagon just because they have no opinions of their own other than what some YouTuber gave them.
