I worked very hard to see this through but it’s still such a privilege to be able to get gender affirming care. And now with the current admin in the US that care will be even harder or impossible for other queer and trans people to access.

with my family to recover (physically and financially lol). I’m grateful for my amazing surgeon and medical team at GCC, and especially @batberryboo.bsky.social who I can’t imagine that week in SF without 💕 And I’m grateful for myself too, for saving money for years and making it happen.

Today marks one year since getting my top surgery! I have no regrets. I look in the mirror every day and get a little boost because I love how my chest looks now!! It just feels right.

I’m so grateful I’ve been able to stay
