I'm glad giving people shit for having "Mary-Sue" characters pretty much isn't a thing nowadays. People should be allowed to have fun and do whatever they want, especially if they're still young and learning about characters and stories. I am pro Mary-Sue, up with Mary-Sues

Remembering the time I was like 11 years old on Neopets wanting to use my OC Mary in an RP thread. Someone accused her of being a Mary-Sue, and I naively said "My character's name is just Mary, not Mary-Sue...."
