Even if they are referencing another artist or anything. I dont know what else to do to prove that I do not trace people's art and that I can freehand my own art. Thank you.
I don't know what to do, and I'm afraid of having a call out post made about me that falsely accuses me of something I didn't do. Please do not ask me who this artist is, i will not say. I just want to clarify that people can freehand their art
I won't say which artist it is, nor do I want this to become a big drama fest, but I do want to clarify that I was accused of tracing when I never did that with their work. I tried to provide all that I could to them to prove I was not lying, but they have insisted that I am.
I'm making this because I made some art not long ago that heavily referenced another larger artist's work. And I understand that I should have given more clarification that I did draw it myself and got permission to post it, but I am not happy being accused of tracing.
And I usually freehand everything. Only in certain cases, like with my transformers art, I do use some hints of underlying sketches, because drawing them is more difficult with the characters being robots. But even then, I'll still freehand most of the drawing.
Hi. I just want to make a quick post on something I didn't think I'd have to do. When I draw, I typically start on paper, and sketch it on there, then importing the sketch onto procreate and drawing over that. And when I do sketch on paper, I don't really use underlying sketches
