Would explain Bowser's obsession.
Nevermind his family has used "charity" to launder money back to the Trump foundation, even if he never saw a single cent from that charity coming back to him, you KNOW he would use it as a tax write off.
...but what if you like raisins? :V
Well gee, Mister President, if Democrats are "never getting those priorities back," I don't see a reason why we need to reopen the government.
When one looks at the constant sycophancy and pettiness towards the president's detractors as a whole, it's increasingly obvious that this administration's officials don't exist to interact with the public and inform them on the White House's decisions, so much as to manage Trump's emotions for him.
Now, in most instances, a Press Secretary could easily just lie or come up with a plausible excuse to explain the President's actions.

But Trump is so mercurial and so thinned skin, that Leavitt doesn't want to risk second guessing him, because he could end up thinking it makes him look bad.
While it's tempting to just downplay this and mock Leavitt for acting like a child, I think this constant hostility and deflection from even the most basic questions deserves to be picked apart and analyzed.

And I think it boils down to this: "They have no actual answer."
Or look at James Meredith. Not only did a white mob try to lynch him when he attended Mississippi University in 1962 (never mind the bullshit the Governor tried to pull), but in 1966, when he went on a solo run across three states to encourage black participation in voting, he was shot.
Trump Supporters: If Trump was REALLY a king, why didn't he just shut down the National Mall to keep the protests from happening? Checkmate, Libs!

Also Trump Supporters: We need to go after the people who fund the groups that stage these protests.
Real talk, but is anyone in this administration capable of actually ANSWERING a goddamned question?
I don't know how true that is, because no human alive is as big a slut as Elminster.
Hey Roy, if Charlie spent more time actually promoting the tenets of Christianity beyond using it as an excuse to deny women's reproductive rights and hating on LGBT people, perhaps he wouldn't have been shot in the throat.
I'm aware of that and pointed out in another post that the renovation was necessary.

And I also pointed out that this ballroom is probably going to look tacky as shit because Trump has all the aesthetic taste of a magpie on crack.
Well, the 1952 renovation was kind of necessary. The White House had become dangerously unstable by that point.

For example, Margaret Truman's piano fell through the ceiling of the White House family dining room. And people noticed that whole floors would sway when walked on.
Oh damn, there's a stroll down memory lane. I had checked out a copy of that book when I was in Elementary school well over 30+ years ago.

I don't remember anything from it, beyond that one image of Mjölnir smashing the stone.
Originally I doubted the existence of the "Pee Tape" the Russians supposedly have as blackmail on Trump, but I'm having second thoughts given how he covers EVERYTHING in piss yellow.
But, on the other hand:

Trump has all the aesthetic taste of a magpie on cocaine and I have little doubt it's going to look gaudy as shit.
On the one hand, it's just the East Wing, which has never been that important to the overall structure and it's purpose has changed multiple times.

And the White House has undergone multiple renovations, with the last one in 1952 completely coring the interior:
Wait, does Johnson think that if the National Mall had been closed, then the No Kings Protest wouldn't have happened?
As we all know, protests have never occurred in monarchies.

Wait a second.
In the latest T'au novel, "Elemental Council" their feet are still described as hooves.
