I recently put together my top 50 games, so I figured I would share them with Bluesky.

My process was to dump all the game I've played at least twice since 2020 into a list, remove the ones that were obviously not top 100, then put those 150 or so into pubmeeple, then tweak the list.

It makes me sad to see board game people still talking about the video. Don't give the idiot your brain space or your words. I've long ago blocked that channel from my recommendations -- in my mind it is an irrelevance that doesn't exist, and I wish more people would treat it that way.

These articles were inevitable and sad. Even though I did it myself, I'd hoped it wouldn't be necessary en masse.

Moving countries is financially expensive, and emotionally exhausting. It's been worth it for me but having your birth country be off limits is so hard to deal with in many ways.
