or if you want your playerbase to grind the game, you do what helldivers 2 does and make multiple bp and make them available at all times and with the possibility to get them for free if you grind for the credits.

the only "reason" valorant skins are so expensive is because cs2 skins are "expensive" while they fail to mention you can actually get (some) of your money back by selling your cs2 skins + skin prices being managed directly by the community(ignore the arms dealer console from the latest update.)

videogames have no reason to price shit so high, especially if the game is already popular and have a big player base.

big games already works using the logic of economy of scale. the only cost they have is: creating the skins,,, and that's it. no costs anywhere else in the cosmetics pipeline.

also emphasis on CHEAP. the battlepass gets you 6~7 skins and variants, some emotes and a lot of filler + 1000+ credits for another bp and some change to waste on the shop. the stuff on the shop costs 0.5~2 battlepasses and honestly it's still a good price!

also, i'm really surprised how things are priced on fortnite. shit is cheap, theres a ton of stuff to buy.

in other games, emotes are just filler content while on fortnite emotes are worth to pay, specially if you're darth vader with jordans dancing to the sounds of hatsune miku
