NEW RESEARCH: Yet another independent study (now approaching 65) finds that hydrogen for heating is not a viable pathway. This time from @fraunhoferisi.bsky.social.

My meta-review of 54 studies now out of date but findings of new studies corroborate mine: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

Ok, but how does fixing just the anode drop the price by an order of magnitude?
Who exactly, Toyota? Where’s the fueling infrastructure?

EVs have already won the transportation race. They more efficient in the car and overall. It’s done.
Seems unlikely to me that the building wouldn’t simply use all the electricity it generates nor be unable just to dump it into the local urban grid which would. I doubt the electrons would leave the block (so to speak).

If it does have excess why not just a battery?
Cargo ships also travel quite slowly partly to save on fuel costs, so the wind can help a lot. Every little bit helps here.
No, it actually makes less sense for vehicles. EVs are way more energy and cost efficient. And there’s already a decent and growing distribution network.
Thanks.

The headline still feels rather clickbait-y.
