The SPSFC is back for year five!!
It is a great competition and well worth joining in if you are a self published SciFi author, or love SciFi and want to judge, OR if you want to find more Self Published SciFi to read, then here is a great competition to join or follow along!
This comic book has me crying, it’s so awesome, and moving, and cool! Loveddddd it!
Look for the good. Strengthen that. Build each other up. Build yourself up. Find something encouraging. Share encouragement. This is a practical way to help each other and strengthen the beauty in this world while reducing the awfulness in it.
The world is both awful and beautiful.

I do not have the answers but I have optimism and believe in the goodness of humanity.

Today I’ll be taking my children to a couple libraries as this is what they enjoy, and I will hope that everyone who reads this is encouraged and does something good.
That’s really neat, and the fact they shared so we could be in on it too is great!
Did not have him leading the charge against them but here we are.
Thank you for sharing this, I had never heard of Hinds! Well written, thoughtful, and thought provoking.
Chilling in the mountains for a few days
I am two Frightened Rabbits albums into the work day about to hit play on a third.
When you want to read but you also maybe drank one glass too many of whiskeys sooooo guess it is social media instead of reading! 😅
Toxic trait of watching people do blindfolded speed cubing and then purchasing cubes myself because surely I can do these with my eyes open knowing damn well I’ve never completed a single rubik’s cube in my whole life yet but going to try again anyways.
New book started!
AN ECHO OF THINGS TO COME by James Islington book two of The Licanius Trilogy and the prologue starts off on fire!!! Eager to dive further in!
Just looked up description for Bama, Spring and that sounds really interesting.
Authors do not have to finish series (or books) they are writing.

Readers do not have to finish series (or books) they are reading.
I loved Dune Messiah and Children Of Dune. Reading more Vintage SciFi made me feel ok with unfinished series I think.
Wheel Of Time should have ended with Robert Jordan.

Dune should have ended with Frank Herbert.

If GRRM doesn’t want to write any more ASOIAF then that’s fine with me.

If Rothfuss never publishes book three of The Kingkiller Chronicles I’ll be ok.

There are plenty of other books to read.
The painting begins. Keeping it light easy fun right now. Imperial Fist Yellow Contrast for the right shoulder, Bharroth Blue for the body. Saving the left arm for now, thinking each Company in the Chapter gets a unique color for the left arm. Helmets might be colored for each Squad in the Company.
JBNM is where I really encountered Byrne and became a fan. This is incredible art.
Kitbashing, 3D Printing, and ebay rescuing a hundred Space Marines so that I can paint them up as a Chapter Company in full, making them uniform while still drastically different. Naming each of them will be fun. Halfway to the goal now!
Fifty-four Space Marines standing in a group together.
