I’ve got a podcast! When I watched the nuclear war film Threads at the age of 11 it terrified me and changed my life forever.

I started the pod to speak to other people whose lives have been changed by Threads, from cast and crew members, to extras, broadcasters, authors and super fans. Out now!
My next piece is about Pizza Hut. Posting tomorrow, as they say…

Episode 17 is out! Happy Diwali everyone. We look at artists who featured on day 1 of MTV broadcasting. The Buggles, Fischer-Z, Genesis, The Vapors and Talking Heads all up for discussion (even though @pankp007.bsky.social has a cold).

‘You cannot win a nuclear war!’

But you can listen to episode three of the Threads podcast, which is out now.

This time, I speak with Maggie Ford, who played the unnamed CND activist in Threads.

It’s short and sweet - enjoy!

With profound thanks to you all. You've been a joyous part of our humble journey. We thought some family and friends might tune in, but we made a whole nuclear family on the way. 5000 listens. Please stay with us. More to come. Lots of love from @pankp007.bsky.social and @davenuclear.bsky.social
A wonderful Threadsy day out in Sheffield. Had breakfast with the star of the film, Rita May, then visited various Threads locations and had vegan pie for din dins at The Nottingham - the pub from the film!

I first saw Threads as a kid in school in the 80s. I legit thought that was Shirley Williams at the time 😆

This podcast must surely be building up to a final episode with the ultimate guest (and check out the dynamically inserted contextual ad!):

Thanks for the lovely feedback and support. Episode three soon - another cast interview!

Meanwhile it really helps get the podcast out there if you can leave a short rating and review on your podcast app. Any help much appreciated and thanks for all the positive vibes anyway!
My podcast is popular on Apple. Which is nice!
If anyone could share my pinned post I would MUCHO appreciate that x
