We do a poetry in Nature program at work and my coworker (who also loves Taylor) had never heard her monster poem, and when I read it out loud we both got chills. Even as a 4th grader, Taylor like had something so captivating in her writing

Opalite does make me a little sad not because of the song like wow what a happy bop but it reminds me that when my great grandma died I wore her opal engagement ring from like the 20s/30s every day because I was a dumb 7th grader and the opal fell out never to be seen again
