weekly coding agent status: downgraded claude code to the "small" max plan and using those $100 for amp.
using cc for planning/brainstorming new features and amp for debugging/researching.
it's been working so far, let's see in a couple of weeks when another "breakthrough" occurs 😬

The great thing about nix is that you get to learn about what is needed to build software.
Anyway, day four of trying to get the latest mlx (1) to build using the hosts’s metal library / bin because the nix package is outdated (2)

I pretty much always take my laptop with me on holiday "just in case" because I know I'll want to hack on stuff. But with claude in github issues, I've barely had to use it :o (except for scaffolding)

Just finished setting up Dia and it feels like the onboarding of AI "productivity" tools is always the same: who are you, How do you learn, How friendly should I be
I wonder if having a "personal" MCP could be a solution: you just (1) have to connect the tool to it
