This is Linda, one of the cranes that visits our bird bath almost every day. I just talked to her softly until she walked away because I didn’t want to startle her, but I was shooketh that she got so close

Yes, I remember Pickles’ rehabber telling us that, it breaks my heart 😭
She will be 3 in February and I’m grateful for that, at least she will live out the rest of her life in comfort 🥰

Yes, but she’s slowing down a lot…most of the time when she’s out, she curls up to sleep some more and no longer has interest in playing with toys. It makes me sad 😔

I’m over it as well. Mostly because I’m not “sick” enough right now to get an official diagnosis, so I’m just stuck in limbo until shit hits the fan again 😂
I’m so sorry you have to deal with those treatments, I hope they eventually give you some relief 🫶🏻

You are too kind. Unfortunately one of the neurological symptoms I’ve been dealing with the last 3 years is vertigo with nausea and these spells will hit me out of nowhere & usually last all day long. So I’d have to skip the meatball sub today 😂
