This anxiety to bloody nose to migraine pipeline is not the business.
Shout-out to the Uber driver who absolutely got the memo and has Blink 182 playing on my ride to the Punk Rock Museum
Kick-started my much-needed return to shows with Straylight Run and Taking Back Sunday last night.

Made some new (local!) friends, hung out at barricade for the first time in years, and delved back into some high school nostalgia. Solid night.
Slowly catching up on the last of this year's American Ninja Warrior. The whole vibe of this show changed when they lowered the age limit and I really miss what it used to be.
Okay, I'm absolutely late to the game on this one, but I'm digging the Tidal Wave era of Taking Back Sunday.

Excuse me while I dig back into my comfort/high school bands and discover more recent music I missed.
Dunkin Spidey is so unhinged and I'm absolutely here for it.
I don't know, guys. I just want to spend my days listening to music and reading books at the beach and enjoying existing.
I don't think we appreciate chicken nuggies enough in adulthood.
Anyone ever get this weird deja vu-ish feeling accompanied by an unsettled stomach?

I don't even know how to properly explain it, but I just experienced it walking through this pumpkin patch this morning.
But also, I can't really afford the $100+ to see Jimmy Eat World on Sunday or the $80+ to see Straylight Run next Friday, sooooooo 😅🤷🏼‍♀️

(Probably still going to spend the money for Straylight though)
Something has kick-started in me in the past month or two and I just want to be back at shows all the time and I want to start writing again. I feel like I'm reverting back to my college self, and I think that's a good thing.
The number of AI images on news posts on Facebook the past week or two is out of control.
It's wild the way that Southwest is advertising as if people WANT them to introduce assigned seating.
I have a dermatologist appointment this afternoon and I just received my FOURTH reminder about it since last Friday. I've already confirmed with them twice that I'll be there and even spoke to someone on the phone yesterday about this appointment.
Guys. It gets better. I got an email today telling me that because our dog is a pit (and not just a mixed breed), our monthly premium is more than DOUBLING and our reimbursement level is also being reduced by by 10%.

What a joke. I'm just going to set aside money on a monthly basis instead.
Guys, I just have to laugh my way through life now. Because if I don't laugh I might cry 🤷🏼‍♀️😅
We just put on Wishmaster (neither Chris or I had ever seen it), and this movie starts out STRONG. Incredible.
I will forever mentally exist in the world of nostalgia.
Insurance seems like such a sham in every situation but it also feels like you're screwing yourself if you don't get it.

I'm just so exhausted of throwing money at vets and doctors and insurance.
Seems fucked that you can purchase pet insurance upon adopting a dog and still end up getting denied for pre-existing conditions because we're trying to address whatever has been making her itch since we adopted her.
I'm finally approaching some much-needed time off from work at the end of this week and my brain has decided that PTO should start now.
Further proof that librarians are the absolute best.
