Last month I translated the AJL Q&A (which he came out) to share this good news with his chinese fandom.
And today someone left a comment saying “Oh, is he really gay?”
……

I think Daedalus in Les Traducteurs draws on the Rebecca book, and the plot summary of this book kind of echoes what is presented in the film.Rebecca is the protagonist's first wife, who also drowned.
That’s why the English version of Daedalus says “Rebecca, or rather the ghost of her.”

There is a real WWII spy archetype for this character, and then the archetype uses a code system based on Daphne du Maurier's book Rebecca.

Fun discovery:
I found out that a British writer called Ken Follett wrote a book called The Key to Rebecca and then the main character of the book was called Alex Wolff.

I’m much calmer than last week now. I don’t hate it, but I do disagree with a lot of those official choices. I do hope they do it better next season.

一个剧集的节奏把控是不该以“我要拍第二季”为核心的。
现在的内容只显得角色性格转变莫名其妙、没有一致性(ooc)。角色死亡甚至不能完全算是推动剧情的道具，就是单纯的死了，更别说对死亡的反思了。
以及Noah Hawley对人性的解读非常自相矛盾。我猜他大概是想让Wendy看起来很彷徨，但完全没成功。这只让Wendy看起来很愤怒，试图反驳所有人。

仅因为有喜欢的演员而对剧集进行无限包容是不会有好结果的，只会收获一样打不起精神的第二季。正因为在乎才会希望拍的更好，就目前来看是不大可能了。也正因为演员们都很好我才觉得可惜。
