Well, because I assume that whatever he thinks about Trump and his mates he’ll do what he has to do to keep on his good side. Mandelson is a good interlocutor to fit with that objective.

I agree with you but can’t help thinking Starmer will agree with Mandelson. Likes his pragmatism does our Keir, as he’s showing with the Chinese too.

Probably wise. I’m relying on the power of unfollow.

Too right. I live there but get my laughs elsewhere.

Wear a kilt to both.

Well that deserves another follow.

Can’t say I’m impressed by the way the HoC is structured and appointed either. And Starmer might want to be rid of heredity peers but fawns on HM.

Keep submitting. It’s all subjective. I usually find that if I submit a few poems I love and then another to make up numbers, it’s that last one an editor likes.

Excellent, though I find it hard to distinguish between cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites in so many major chains.

Absolutely brilliant and moving programme. Brave of those lads to share so much about themselves. It even made me interested in cricket.

I find it most annoying with biographies, where you need to wade through guff on the great grandparents. I blame Genesis (book not band).

Such a beautiful looking dog. Losing them never gets easier and is like no other loss. They depend on us, and it’s hard to fathom how deeply we depend on them.

Have you enjoyed/ endured fado?
