My work draws out the less known, obscure and esoteric elements of Karl Popper’s thought.
I know it’s wrong, but I had to ask AI to create a movie about Karl Popper, now I want to see it.

My work has been recently cited in this Cambridge article on Kenneth Waltz. There is a crucial error here. The author says that Popper “conceded” that language shapes scientific endeavour. This implies that Popper lost an argument. This is incorrect: www.cambridge.org/core/service...

Poland’s foreign minister Sikorski. Brawo! There is something of the old Polish romanticism and messianic spirit. This forgotten messianic tradition still has much to offer. #Poland #Sikorski #messianism

Moje przesłanie do delegacji rosyjskiej: nie dajemy się nabrać na wasze kłamstwa. Wiemy, co robicie. Dopóki nie zatrzymacie tej brutalnej wojny, nie powinniście tu być (1/2)

My book “Returning to Karl Popper” 2014 did not aim at finding and filling a “gap in the literature”, rather it aimed to show that Popper was a radically different kind of thinker to what his students and acolytes claimed him to be. It aimed to change the way we engage with Popper’s philosophy.

While Australia is an Anglophone country, it didn’t receive its multiculturalism from Canada as often thought. Rather Australian multiculturalism owes its theoretical foundations to Polish sociologists such as Florian Zubrzycki and Jerzy Smolicz. www.academia.edu/1715052/The_... #multiculturalism
The Origins of Australian Multiculturalism
This paper argues for an integrative multiculturalism theoretically articulated by Jerzy (George) Zubrzycki (1920–2009) as the foundation for a normative definition and a national policy. This is not ...

The title of Karl Popper’s book The Logic of Scientific Discovery is deceptive. For Popper - there is no knowable logic, and something like an intellectual love involved. Popper laid the foundation to save discovery from AI. #KarlPopper #AI youtube.com/watch?v=yvDt...

Professor Wayne Hudson in 2001 anticipated what we see in the Jordan Peterson phenomenon. Is Peterson’s evasive responses to his personal religion a manifestation of an essentially “postreligious” sensibility? #JordanPeterson

David Deutsch gets to the core of Popper’s thought in a very profound way. If you are not familiar with Popper’s thought, this is a great start. Importantly, he was not a student of Popper’s or one of the gatekeepers to the academic Popper industry. #KarlPopper youtu.be/I3FzAjgPztU

Basically what the Paradox of Tolerance means, is that liberalism (not in the contemporary American sense) needs teeth. It is not agnostic to values, and sees intolerance emanating both from the extreme left and right.

At the end of the day, Karl Popper’s message is something like this - you better safeguard the institutional checking mechanisms that allow you to throw out potential tyrants, because when the mob feel they’ve been swindled they will elect someone who can do the violence they crave for them.
