There's no peace in the Middle East if we return to the status quo of oppression in Palestine that existed before this one-sided war. Pretending this is an accomplishment when 70,000 civilians, 20,000 of them children, are dead, is a god damned embarrassment, and our media should be ashamed.

Never have been. All those campus protests of the past weren't filled with faculty and administrators. It was always the students, often protesting those institutions. Universities have a long history of towing the line for fascism, with lip service toward progress.

Have the GOP constantly having to respond. Have the headlines read "Senate hopeful calls for universal healthcare." Force Republicans to argue against it.

Instead of letting the GOP dictate the terms of the debate, instead of retreating in the Fall from what you said in the Spring, outdo it.

I have a new thesis: Dems should fight to out-moderate each other in the primaries. Don't give any fuel for later use. Whoever comes out on top wins - but accept it and move on.

Come the general, the winner should move further left. Actually LEAD on the issues, and put the GOP on their back foot.

The Nobel Prize committee should give it to Obama again just to spite Trump.

What a fucking joke that the guy who is murdering civilians on boats using the military, throwing immigrants in gulags, and funding a genocide, thinks he deserves a Peace Prize. We're an embarrassment around the world.
