I wish that all people who are so quick to make war would watch The Third Remembering and The Fourth Remembering. Maybe it would plant a seed of compassion in them that would take root and give them a branch where they may try to look and find another way.

A quote from John Cleese: "Creativity comes not from pressure or structure, but from entering a 'playful' state of mind,” what he calls an open mode, as opposed to the closed mode of routine and anxiety.

I don’t think the neuroscience research supports this. Stress ends up being an inhibitor of creativity, not the other way around… think “the best ideas come in the shower.”
Thomas Edison used to nap in a chair holding a ball bearing. The clatter would rouse him and he claimed to have new solutions.

I just started watching the first episode today, but I can already picture Alma in my mind's eye. Look forward to seeing how this tale unrolls. (Also really excited to watch you go toe-to-toe with Brennan in Campaign IV. The first two episodes have been amazing).

This would make an amazing theme song for the series.

Honest question. If the bird survives the infection, does their immune system clear the virus or do they remain an infective reservoir, increasing the potential for viral mutation with increased potential to “jump” species?

Episode 1 was phenomenal. After watching Weird Kids Episode 7: Punk is a Four Letter Word this weekend, it put Taliesin's choice when things got tense into perspective and made it all that more poignant.

Why does @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social like emotionally tormenting your characters SO MUCH? You were both brilliant in Calamity and in Episode 1 last night!

If that was the worst of the harm, I’d be all in… I almost never use cash… but when I have to flag NIH posts for spreading misinformation, we have bigger problems to worry about.
alessandrorosaphd.bsky.social
I think it is good considering the actual disinformation coming out of NIH and CDC right now, but this is also a slippery slope as it sets a precedence for States to also go against the science and emboldens them to do away with mandates and coverage.

@mysticartsdm.bsky.social I realize that you are planning to do your own video on linking a narrative for Heroes of the Borderlands, so I didn't leave it in the comments there, but @alphastream.bsky.social has a really good suggestion on how to have a narrative through-line and stakes here.

DSA5e likely paid their freelance writers and artists a lot less that WoTC did. WoTC also has a significant number of staff designers and artists that draw a regular salary (not just word count or piece work) and receive benefits (which freelancers don’t get), all which need to be paid for.

Do people really not know what the word “IF” means?

If a large meteor hit Earth again it would be a bad day for life, does not mean a large meteor hit Earth again, as the evidence is that we’re all alive.

If the evidence showed a lab leak it would have been bad… but the evidence didn’t show that.

Kaleb Horton, again: "It's sad how many RTs you get by saying the world is ending instead of admitting the scary truth that it's not and there's work to do in it."

Be honest, that isn’t the leaf of a flower, it is the blade of your scimitar painted green to camouflage it.
