Having autism is helpful in times like these. While many I know have been taken in by right wing politicians and media, I'm over here like, "But he lies. Lying is bad. Being mean is bad. Being selfish is bad." I love the clarity my autistic brain affords me. π

Those suck! At the moment, they have subsided a bit for me. It's the brain fog, fatigue and achy joints that are kicking my ass! No one told me that my average aches and pains get turned up to 11 during this time. What the hell?

The chicks are growing up! This process has been a joy to watch! I have raised 2 clutches myself, but to witness a mama hatch and raise and the flock take care of them, was pure joy.

Yup! Reagan created the "welfare mom" to scapegoat poor women, and support corporate welfare. You know, "poor women are stealing your money and ruining the economy, not the huge corporations getting ridiculous tax breaks." The GOP has shamelessly pushed the agenda of the wealthy for decades.
