It‘s an Alaska kind of day
Somehow did a vocal fry for a feature last night. I’m back
Erasing me is a choice that simply isn't yours to make.

i'd like to second all of this, the new kitchen nightmares format is absolutely peak
Alright, everyone. I need to ramble.

I've been watching more TV since I finished moving into the new place, and I gotta say that Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service is the best possible update to the Kitchen Nightmares formula we could have gotten, and it needs to continue.
If you're a fan of Kitchen Nightmares, you have got to check this new series out. It reinvents the wheel in such brilliant fashion.

That's my ramble.
The editing and filming as well is super tight and immersive. I'm sincerely sucked in from start to finish every time, and the fact that the formula is so consistent in the first season alone is seriously impressive. Also, every single restaurant in this season is still open right now!
The fact that we have someone on the inside every single episode, typically someone that has a close connection with the people in management, it just makes for not only great content, but also is sure to make the overhaul much more effective than what Kitchen Nightmares has offered.

20,000 streams on farsight is blowing my mind to an immense degree.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen to track 25 of All Nighter, Vol. 7, written by me and Self Discovery, who now goes by @reboundgirl.bsky.social.

I will always be proud of what we achieved together.
It's October 7th, and I have started the process of blocking access to my music in Israel.

The apartheid state is committing genocide. This statement has been true for almost eighty years.

I encourage my friends and allies to join this boycott. This is an opportunity to fight.
Moving into my own place tomorrow, decided to treat myself by grabbing a novel that had a profound effect on me in middle school. If you can, I highly recommend shopping at and supporting your local book stores, they really aren’t getting enough love in this current climate.

Alaska Sargent is an artist who delves deep into alternative realms of music-making. This has certainly been captured throughout a recent collection of theirs, a brilliantly DIY and behind-the-scenes album called Awkward! Alaska Sargent on Clearance. This outing showcases an innate sense of craft and composition in the most raw and upfront way, and it also acts as a superb follow-up to such previous outings as Bury Me with My Money, Over My Dead Body, and Self Portrait, each offering providing further sense of this singer-songwriter's prolific and free-roaming creative mentality. And taking a break from these exceptional musings, Alaska sat down for a chat with Aldora Britain Records about their life in music so far. We discussed formative artistic memories from their adolescence, their approach to songwriting and songcraft, a selection of their recorded output to date, and much, much more. That exclusive in-depth conversation is published here in full for the very first time. Quickfire Round
