Jeff Bezos contributed millions to Trump ( who solicited money from billionaire oligarchs) for that ballroom.

Two things are sure:

Bezos & wife will dance in that ballroom.
Regular Americans will never be invited
Ballroom will ensure greatness, says editorial board of newspaper entirely owned by major donor to the ballroom project... (without mentioning that detail...):

Believing in a God doesn’t help us explain anything.
Listening to Donald Trump speak doesn't explain anything.
Ordinary people voting for him is inexplicable.
The existence of billionaires is inexcusable.
If I believed in a god I would see Donald Trump as the ultimate proof that there isn't one.
But as I don't, I believe he's a failure of evolution and I blame all the dinosaurs in his Party.

Sarah Pochin is a racist.
Reform is a racist party.
Her ‘apology’ makes no difference to that.
Trying to claim your words really meant something else is not an apology.
It’s a lie about who you are and what you think.
So, she’s a racist.
And, for all our sakes, that MUST be a shameful thing to be.

The poundin' of the drums, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead, but don't leave a trace
Hate your next door neighbor but don't forget to say grace

In Capitalism, the rich do the same but the "little people" don't even have to leave their homes.

People tell me that a crisp sandwich is a wonderful treat.
Personally I've never managed to keep the filling in between the two crisps.
And don't get me started on trying to butter each bloody crisp!

Brexit was supposed to be a one off and done. Instead it's a never ending weeping sore on the British people and its politics

it’s in books that we first hear that call from life that says wonder and pain and love and adventure are out there waiting for us. There are solid neurological reasons why books are best at this. We control the speed of input. We explore possibilities. www.theguardian.com/books/2025/o...
