My C64 was purchased second hand in 1984 when I was 16.
It came with a few cassettes and Radar Rat Race on cartridge — so either that or Falcon Patrol was probably the first game I played on it.
I was most excited about messing around with Sprites and the SID chip in BASIC though.

Five years ago, my son tried Falcon Patrol on my Commodore 64. (The one my parents bought for me in 1984.)

I never owned one, but the brightly coloured keys and built in tape deck made me want one in the ‘80s. (And if I had the room, I’d still want to get one today as well.)

Instead, I went from 16K Spectrum to C64 to Amiga 500, having started with Apple II and BBC micro at school.
