update: i unlocked donatello by defeating all 36 "ghosts" (completing time trials) on varying difficulties. made my hands sweat and ache, but i'm very happy bc now i have all the turtles in this game!!

now it's time for 💜 to lay a big egg– i'll help him bc getting him helped me play the game better

and it's not just moments where the tmnt are supporting one another, it's also when one or all of them is kidnapped in some episodes– "sword of yurikawa" has leo save mikey from a trap, for example. even when it looks like they can't get out, they still win in the end and it fills me with pride!

basically raph thinks he's about to die bc donnie's buggy invention failed on him... but then i realized that there's a lot of comfort in this show that made me go "aw!" like when raph catches mikey from a fall in "son of return the fly II" or leo risking his life in the VERY fourth episode 🥹
