The Democrats on the House Science Committee have set up a website to collect stories from fired federal employees, anonymously if desired. Please amplify. (This helps the lawyers establish standing for bringing legal cases against the administration!)

What a lovely photo from one of our museum specimens.
Feather from a museum specimen of the probably-extinct Eskimo Curlew. This feather, about as wide as a pencil eraser, fell off when the curator moved the specimen. When I was done taking photos, this and one other errant bit of down were carefully placed back in the tray, precious tiles of a mosaic.
