A small vocal percentage of users care enough to change the default algo. Choice is good and probably tablestakes, however I hope Bluesky continues to invest in a high quality “for you” feed. This is all most users will see and needs to have high quality content.

. @jay.bsky.team congrats on the amazing growth. I would keep an eye on churn, and k-day retention. I.e. are your users finding value right away? This can help you avoid what we ran into at Twitter (and spent many years fixing).

I am seeing accounts which are just bulk following everyone to gain inbound follows ie. Follow-spam. @arcalinea.bsky.social there are some relatively simple fixes.
