Fully Open Source Airbus A320 home cockpit
My journey started back in 2018, sitting in the Australian sun under the approaching traffic into Sydney Kingford Smith Airport. I just had finished my apprenticeship and wanted to have an Airbus A320 home cockpit but there weren’t any affordable home cockpit options and no comprehensive source for building your own on the cheap was to be found either so I wanted to design one my self. I started kicad for the very first time and tried to make things happen… without knowing how to do PCB design t...

If you asked me what tool to use for HW design, the answer'd be KiCad. No doubt.

When I want to manufacture my Beny-devices Templates, I order only locally at @aisler.net.

• Ordering directly from KiCad using 𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗥 plugin.
• EU manufacturing

PCB production is on hiatus for christmas, but your creativity isn't?

Order your PCBs via KiCad’s "AISLER PushForKiCad" in December 2025 and get 20% off. We take a break until 5 January, so your boards will ship in the new year - but they’ll do so at a nicer price.

Quick KiCad reminder: Use 3D models and actually check your board in the 3D viewer. It’s one of the easiest ways to catch mechanical fit issues early.

Switching to an electric powertrain quickly exposes weak electronics designs.

The Seagulls Lübeck redesigned large parts of their low-voltage system when moving from combustion to electric, including a custom PDU with monitoring, protection and hardware fallbacks.

You told us you’d love to order components only. Good news: that’s already been possible with Simple Supply. Less good news: it was a bit hidden. So we fixed that. 😇

Right next to where you upload your PCB design, you’ll also see an option to work on your BOM only.

You either sprint to hit the 15 Dec PCB deadline or accept that your boards will arrive in January.

In both cases, we wanted to give the KiCad community more than a token gesture - so AISLER PCBs ordered via “Push for KiCad” in December 2025 get 20% off. 🎁
