maaaan i cant even lie that new pokemon game actually looks kinda fun
however the move is ALWAYS to wait until the new megas r playable in OU and then build ONE (1) team with my favorite kinda-viable mega and ladder up until i start losing games regularly at which point i close showdown for 2 years

also the hands are specifically made to hold the airmasters rifles which means A) its weird that the rifles are loose in the hands and B) it cant hold a lot of other gunpla weapons because the hole is too small. iirc gwitch gunpla have smaller hands but i havent tried anything with that

overall its a fine kit, but bandai definitely couldve put a bit more effort into it and it wouldve gone a long way. if you like the design and/or are a gundam x fan (like me,) pick it up, but i dont think its a must-have for everybodys collection

no hand options other than the trigger fingers is a bit of a letdown, too. it doesnt have anything else to hold but closed fists or open hands would be nice. the actual transformation itself is pretty dang good though, and the kit itself is very handsome
articulation is also good. does what it needs

finally... my airmaster
the upper torso is kinda loose because of the way the transformation gimmick works, not a huge issue but it does work against you. the more major issue is the guns ARE loose in the hands. if the handles were fractionally thicker this wouldnt be an issue. kinda disappointing

all the other gunpla in the "check out the other kits in the series" section are just gundam X variants lmao
on one hand, at least x is better than turn a and on par with victory as far as modern retail HGs go so it COULD be worse. on the other hand turn a/x/victory are my three favorite series so 🫠
