Lost In Dreams Records did administer a powerful dose of hardstyle/progressive house in the form of "Fast Forward". This song is an international collaboration bringing together American dance musician Jason Ross, Chilean DJ/producer Horyzon, UK artist Camden Cox and British-Swedish multi-hyphenate TW3LVE (a.k.a. Lilly Ahlberg). "Fast Forward" is my kind of EDM: energetic yet emotional. I love the rapturous synths and how they round up the song's visceral feel.

Besides technical flows, what makes a true emcee is their ability to paint vivid imagery with their lyrics. And I love it when an artist pours their heart into a song the way Bub Rock did on "Piece Full". Over a soulful boombap instrumental, the New York rapper effortlessly lays thoughtful bars laced aggression. "Piece Full" was produced by frequent collaborator Backpack Beatz.

The debut single from Tokyo-based artist ERIÉ is vibrant and flavourful--it is characterized by a smooth blend of R&B and pop with elements of indie and electronica. "BYEEE BOY" can be described as a playful empowerment anthem. The song is about walking away from situations that don't serve you. Delivered in Japanese and English, it is quite catchy. While the song "Owl Creek Blues" offered just a taste of Blue Tomorrows' indie-electronic style, her new album, Weather Forever, delivers you the full serving. The nine-track self-released project does open a portal into the artist's world. Blue Tomorrows is the alias of American songwriter and producer Sarah Nienaber. You'll get to appreciate her talent the moment you begin listening to the album.

For well over two decades, German musician Carsten Meyer has kept fans dancing. Using aliases such as Erobique and Bayman (under which he released his 2016 album Babyman 2), he's crafted excellent nu-disco tunes. Recently, the Hamburg-based producer linked up with Ada (singer) and Arnim (vocalist/guitarist and frontman of German band Beatsteaks) for this funky disco-soul cut, "Verstehen". The song is melodious and irresistibly dance-inducing.

With a name that easily gives away their style, Indie Indie duo deliver emotionally stirring music. I just discovered the Canadian indie band the other week after hearing their song called "I knew for the first time". Thankfully, that track is part of a whole album titled Fading Silhouette, which arrived last month. And, admittedly, the album has me fully immersed in Indie Indie's music.

Here's something fresh for your Christmas playlist. "Quiet Town (Snow Falling)" by Buckland Boys is an acoustic-leaning country-pop ballad that feels feels so warm and soothing, thanks to its beautiful arrangement and soulful vocals. "It’s not a traditional Christmas song, more of a nostalgic December story", the band notes. I love this song and the nostalgia it evokes. Vocal powerhouse Nuela Charles recently released a new EP titled NU2U. This is her first body of work since the unveiling of her self-titled 2022 album. She had teased this project with a couple of singles, including "NAME" and "EGO". "Life", which is the EP's focus track, now has an accompanying music video (see the cinematic visuals above).

Before discovering the song "Sorry Not Sorry" by the dt's, I had no idea that such a band existed. As I have now found out, the dt's are an American duo recognizable by their poppy indie rock style. the dt's announced themselves properly in 2022 when they dropped You With Me, their debut EP. This year, they have shared two singles so far, with "Sorry Not Sorry" being the latest.

Buoyed by the wide acceptance of their debut single "Ask Me If I've Ever Been in Love", UK artist MTHEPOET is closing the year on a high. "Ask Me If I've Ever Been in Love" is an anti-romance anthem delivered over a bouncy and melodic trap instrumental. Featured artist Chiles Chiles served up a smooth rap verse with some raunchy lyrics.

Arriving on 14th November, Time Doesn't Heal. It Hides. by alt-pop artist B.Miles had been one of the most anticipated album these last few months. Two singles, "Five Alarm" and "Too Close To The Flame", were released ahead of its unveiling. "+1" is one of the six new tracks that dropped with the album. In this particular song, B.Miles revels in the warmth of being desired while aware that it probably won't last.

French electronic artist MOOJO is considered an innovator when it comes to afro house. His music tends to feature a fine blend of familiar electronic grooves with exotic dance elements. "Mimisiku", the musician's latest single, will offer you a taste. "Mimisiku" features an emotionally rousing and soulful vocal that blends smoothy with the percussion-heavy instrumental. This afro house tune is catchy indeed.

Another brilliant producer is confidently stepping into a solo career. Before his switch, Stevie had been worked on numerous artists projects by other artists. And, with his just-released debut EP titled I Guess This Is Healing, he is revealing his emotional side in a big way. The songs "Sell Me A Dream" and "Sore Loser" are a perfect illustration. …

That Matilde G's first full-length release would see her foray into rock music was not what I expected. Since I discovered her, the Singapore-based Italian singer has always been doing pop. On the album, which is called Beautiful Wreckage, the artist trades pop's polished lustre for rock's raw edge--she co-produced the album. The focus track is the aptly titled "Moody".

"King Kong" by German-American artist BB Thomaz is one song that I can see featuring prominently in end-year playlists. The song is so vibrant and catchy--it blends soulful melodies with an undeniably mainstream appeal. Lyrically, "King Kong" is all about confidence and self-empowerment. And BB's vocal performance couldn't be more befitting--so bubbly. The New York-born singer and producer's rise continues.

What started as an acoustic songwriting duo of Jack Marland (vocals) and Adam Bridge (guitar) soon morphed into a complete indie outfit when Thomas Mullen (bass) and Connor Byrne (drums) joined. Today, we know the Manchester-native band as Mercy Kelly. Mercy Kelly's latest single "Out in the Night" is really anthemic. Featuring soaring melodies and impassioned vocals, this energetic indie pop/rock song will get you singing along heartily.

"Right Before My Eyes" is a stirring soul/pop anthem from Germany's Frank Popp Ensemble. Featuring vocals and a guitar solo by legendary English singer-songwriter Paul Weller, this song is socially conscious and deeply rousing. "Right Before My Eyes" fervently delves into uncomfortable topics, highlighting how injustices are going on unabated in today's world. It's not too long ago when Bino Bames shared with us his debut single, "Cocktail Princess". Now, with the arrival of the 20-year-old Las Vegas-born musician's first ever EP, we get a full taste of his alt-rock sound. The project is titled Gathers No Moss and is 8 tracks long. It arrived a little over a fortnight ago alongside the music video for "Let You Go" (see visuals above).

London indie pop singer-songwriter Ananya has had a busy 2025, presenting us with one amazing single after another. Following her "Man Ray" single, she unveiled "My Darling New York". And just like "Man Ray", I find the new song amazing. "My Darling New York" came paired with a music video that captures the sentiment in each lyric. It's a heartfelt and nostalgic ode to New York and the duality of the freedom and vulnerability that it sometimes represents. Brisbane's STAH is a duo you should be keeping an eye on. The Australian outfit has been making waves recently, thanks to their vibrant indie sound. Personally, I still can't get enough of "Loving Friend", their latest single. A mesmeric indie rock tune with bluesy, desert rock elements infused in, "Loving Friend" is really captivating. It's only a few months since Florian Hope dropped his first single, "Her (Not Like This)". Yet, the singer has already amassed close to a million streams on Spotify alone. I guess, considering the quality of his releases, this sudden rise was a given. For example, his latest single "Better Days" is really impressive.
