I came to Bluesky because X (not twitter) had degenerated into a right-wing / fascist hell.
From 20 Jan 2025 there will be no American politics on my timeline. I gave it 8 years, it gave me anxiety and disappointment. You let in the clown, he brought the circus.

Season 5, conclusion of Angel, from end of the 90s, is a great season. The last 2 episodes especially so, given state of America. It highlights champions don't become heroes until they are willing to fight for right, even when odds are against them (timely, allegory)

I dragged myself to Specsavers, announced to the woman that I had a couple of screws loose, could she help.
She looked at me in my running gear and took my glasses.
She did a great job tightning my glasses, not sure about the loose screws.
Better go running.

It was a super strong black espresso, ristretto, it foams up nicely but it smells strongly when spilled.
I can't have milk in coffee, dark and bitter all the way for me ... probably explains a lot! 😅

I'd like to call this a coffee malfunction but it's fairer to say it's a brain malfunction, my brain.
I literally pressed button, looked away, turned back & realised I had not put the cup under!!!
It's going to be one of those days.
