People in the Arcane fandom acting as if their opinion is fact even as they state that they're CHOSING TO IGNORE MULTIPLE THINGS

I

Swear

To

GOD
Accepting that Fate, aka the Arcane, is an active player does not negate Choice. Free Will is very literally the thing that's being so hard fought for in the first place!??!?!?!!!!!
There's also the bit where ppl are incredibly reluctant to accept Fate as part the story despite the fact that opening credits of Both Seasons are direct references to it on top of the multiple lines within the text that directly reference fate in regards to Viktor. Not to mention the gd tarot cards
I really wanna shake the jayvik fandom sometimes because jfc there are some widely accepted interpretations of the text that feel as though they just simply ignore what's said &...I get wanting to make things more romantic, but like y'all...y'all you don't have to destory the characters to get there
I mean this with my whole entire heart, the w*thering heights trailer song..., the 'fall in love again and again' thing, is one of the most annoying 'songs' I have ever heard in my entire life.
And if I were to say 'Helena by MCR is a Jayvik song' what then huh? What. Then.
Genuinely curious as to how Jayvik fans got 'Viktor is a mean nightmare professor.' From the time Viktor literally gently/kindly explained his solution for Hextech to Jayce.

I beg 'Where tf did mean Viktor come from?!?!?!?' Every gd day in this fandom 😅.
Idk I think there are a lot of ppl in the jv fandom who treat Viktor as if he's immune to trauma when reasonably that man is barely going to be functioning post canon let alone going out into society.

But nah, he should be normal because only Jayce is allowed to be traumatized.
Viktor who not only isn’t fully in his body, but who isn’t alone in it when he is. Viktor who did not choose that and who literally cannot escape it. Literally he is 'killed' and nothing changes. He's connected to hundreds of minds as well.
There's a fic in the tua fandom where Klaus ends up possessed by The Handler for like a year & when he regains control over his body he literally can barely even figure out how to breathe let alone move & I think about that a lot in association to Viktor. Viktor who in s2 isn't fully in his body.
Again, never a day goes by on this site where I don't see a jv comment that makes my eyes roll.

It's still interesting how V's fem coding is based in his power too whereas when people insist that J is more fem it's in an effort to paint him as powerless.
"They could've built this that or the other thing.' Have you considered that if they did how Vi wouldn't have her very big gloves to punch people with?
It strikes me as strange that ppl are so weird about the inventions Jayce & Viktor decided to build as of they clearly weren't meant as easter eggs/a way for Vi & Viktor to get their in game weapons. It was never that deep.
He 'believed' in himself and got fairly fa4 because of it. Singed arguably eventually is also inspired by him, as are his followers. Heimerdinger doesn't use the phrase, but clearly found him inspiring as well. Anyone who gets close to Viktor is inspired in some way.
I do often sit with the theory that Viktor is a born mage and his passive power, like Mel's empath, is Inspiration. Tho technically not canon, his parents were so inspired by him they collected all their money to by his uniform. Sky was inspired by him. Jayce was inspired by him half a dozen times.
Once again people in the jv fandom think Mage Viktor appears old simply because he has a beard. Where is that pic where the person removed said beard and clearly proved he hadn't aged?
I think I do finally feel my intense jv fandom brainrot fading. Purely from the standpoint that the parts of the fandom I'm exposed to/the big names in the fandom/fandom weeks very much seem to just not like Viktor 😅

And it is purely a falling out of wanting to engage with the fandom, not the ship
I still think it's hilarious the fandom looked at the dying guy who did the scientific equivalent of going to a magic orb and whispering 'please fix me' and decided he's a control freak dom 🤣.
There was a Whole Entire Thing Shoved Inside Him that he Didn't Want There and Actively Hated the last time he was alone in his body.

Whether or not you believe he was fully mind controlled doesn't change the fact that he was very literally a host. He was possessed.
I discussed them with my mother saying 'You don’t act that way with your brother, right?!'

Her response? 'Well...not unless you want to kiss your brother.' She's in her 70s.

Neither of us are only children 😂
Dom Viktor is so OOC it makes me itch and I block the tag when I search. Why are they making me block another, vaguer, tag. Just tag the dynamic ffs 😂
Can I juar add to this by saying I have come to loathe the 'dom/sub overtones' tag as well when people should just tag who the dom/sub are? It's so annoying.
Dude is just so boring to me and once you realize the show basically ends on the note of saying 'Doing nothing is better' I *actively* dislike him.
