Daybreaker had the best design in the show, and got like 4 minutes of screentime. Definitely not pushing my agenda here.

I think I'm kinda stuck on this incredibly brief gag and the best design in the show being such a perfect pairing for what could've been.

She was, but it was heavily implied Celestia could have been her if she wanted. Same way Luna ended up as Nightmare Moon.

Her refusal to do so is a detriment, in my opinion, due to Daybreaker having a really cool design that I want to see more of.

I’m pretty sure if Twilight had properly explored this form with Daybreaker every single villain would’ve been trivial for her.
