LP I noticed for NG+ some areas have less enemies, while others have more, or later enemies early. So some combat areas are different than before.

Okay, with the upgrades and carryover in NG plus for Silent Hill F AND getting a certain ability early, I dont understand the complaints about the combat when playing the game again for endings. Now its more manageable. Not to mention if you do UFO, you can have an extra special weapon.

LP in the past Ive seen cases of youtubers presenting things discovered through asset mining as their own work, where there were things found through community efforts and discussion in places that are very passionate about those games vs the youtubers just jumping on something that got popular

If anyone ever wants to learn datamining, modding or examining assets of games with tools Im always willing to point people in the right direction. I think community efforts to examine the game contents and prioritizing archiving of that information is better than doing things for exposure/profit

When it comes to dissecting games, I always hope that more people do it vs a few people gatekeeping the methods of datamining or examining games. Granted some of it takes time & effort, but I really do think a handful of content creators do it "to be the first to make discoveries" and profit from it

i don't know why it still surprises me a decade in to my career as a video game writer but it truly is utterly impossible to get anyone to read something. if you have a task that requires reading anything longer than a powerpoint slide, just forget about it

I like watching friends play Silent Hill F but the amount of people that jump to conclusions in chat in response to others, making it pretty clear they havent beaten the game nor intend to as they experience the game through a streamer, annoys the hell out of me.

Now seeing comments saying youre not allowed to find characters in horror games sexually appealing because of the circumstances theyre dealing with. Were these people born yesterday or something?
You can take horror media seriously and still find characters attractive

Being in the RE fandom for a long time, I used to really love discussions and theories around JP games in forums, but now in the late days of social media game discussion especially with western fans often turns into moral grandstanding. So youre sometimes just better off enjoying games in private

LP I know some people might settle for watching the endings, but without context, those endings are going to be very confusing. So if you choose to do so and cant play any more, definitely watch videos covering information that pops up in NG+ playthroughs

I really like Silent Hill F, but it really is going to be frustrating trying to discuss the game with others who did not get the entire story. I will say that if you finish it atleast once, there are a lot of good videos out there summarizing the entire story, if multiple playthroughs arent possible

Im thankful for friends who tolerate and understand my tiredness issues. Its always possible theres something else outside of deficiencies causing it as well, but with my history of reactions to medication and supplements, trying to correct the issues is frustrating and sometimes I want to give up.

and I took my third dose today and was still having concerning symptoms. They had me taking a high dose because my Vitamin D was in the red (at 12). Im being switched off of it to a 1k dose daily and they just told me to work on getting sunlight and the right foods if I can

I wanted to update people about the Vitamin D supplement situation. Health issues can be very frustrating because even if you actively get checked and are prescribed something to help, its possible things can go wrong. I was having negative symptoms whenever I took the weekly high dose (50k of D2)-
