You could do Tiny11 but you won't get security patches either. At this point I'd just suggest Linux. I've been using it for nearly 20 years and it's a very capable daily driver.

The advertised minimum requirements are not the true minimum reqs. Early versions of Windows 11 could install and run on an early-2000s CPU, if the installer was run with a special flag. The true minimum requirements is now a Core i* or later, with the special flag. I got Tiny11 on a Pentium G4400!

Well, no, but so far they've been focusing on non-citizens. My point is more general, though - if you wanted these people to be in your country long term, they should have been offered permanent residency and citizenship rather than existing entirely at the mercy of ICE.

I don't know anything about this person, but owning a domain name is not the same as owning the content that the domain name points to.

The domain name is like a billboard with an arrow on it saying "[business name] 500m this way"

I knew a guy who borrowed $20,000 and bought Bitcoin in the early days; a few years later he claimed to Coindesk that his computer had been hacked while he was on holiday and he lost it all.

I tell people this story as a cautionary tale, but he probably just made this claim to try to avoid tax.

What's more hilarious is that Valve is dropping support for 32-bit Windows - while their actual application is still just a 32-bit binary.

Bit hypocritical to tell people to switch to 64-bit when Valve themselves aren't doing it.

No - a significant number of them are victims of predatory scammers, and are not about to arm themselves or commit violence.

I do think that their networks and their communications should be disrupted, to stop their grifters from preying on vulnerable people and to hinder them from violent acts.

While true that Trump's alleged behaviour would presently satisfy the requirements to be diagnosed with Pedophilic Disorder, the current criteria for PD is far too broad to be clinically useful. Or legally useful, for that matter.

Anyone paying attention knew he was a deeply cruel man during the Thailand cave rescue when he tried to claim, baselessly, that one of the rescuers who wasn't impressed by his submarine was a pedophile. And then hired a private detective to try to get evidence of any wrongdoing by the rescuer.

Maybe edibles SHOULD smell. If they had something added to them to give a distinctive smell, similar to how natural gas is given an odourant, maybe there would be fewer accidental druggings from cannabis candy. You'd smell it as soon as you opened the packet.

I know I've mentioned it before, but my friend was a cop in Western Australia. Whenever a SovCit showed him their fake ID card, he would tell them that he'd need to take them to immigration detention, under suspicion of being here unlawfully.

Then they would find their government ID quick smart,lol

There is very, very little reason to have cannabis except for recreational purposes. Basically, if you are undergoing chemotherapy and don't have an appetite as a result, yeah it might help you. Otherwise, actual medicine is known to be more effective with fewer side effects.
