lrps it's a difficult thing ofc to get myself out of that kind of mindset after years and years of only experiencing that. but it got to a point where i can't continue living like that. it wears me down. so i've learned that if i start to go down that path, i can reflect rather than let it get to me

Befriending people is a skill and you can learn how in these simple steps
1. Learn to smile genuinely
2. Let them speak and feel heard
3. Don’t abruptly change topics, segue gracefully
4. Laugh at yourself when you get awkward or if you misspeak
5. Apologize if they have a weird reaction to anything
