Speakers are one of the many types of magic casters within Ormauk. They commune with spirits using musical instruments. This speaker uses the large conch horn as a general-use magic staff while the smaller conches around his waist are more specialized tunes to summon specific spirits!

I mixed some traditional Filipino fashion and design into this character; mainly seen in the translucent undershirt reminiscent of the barong, the waist-length tunic he wears, and the batok inspired tattoos on his arms.

We made another kind of magic user in Ormauk! Compared to a Speaker, Superlatives are more tuned to technology and use their knowledge about ancient artifacts to help improve modern technologies within their communities.
