Hmm, feel like I might struggle to sleep again. Well, going to try no matter.
I’ll make some kind of diagram on how I did it tomorrow. It’s definitely ‘wrong’ but seems to work well.
Having said that, I think I did it wrong.
Long stitch, I was looking at something different as a border.
Maybe try and finish this pumpkin today. Light is fading though…
New stitch, I feel like I can leave the newbie gardens and start my journey through the lower levels. #CrossStitch
Next feature to add to Stituation Critical pattern editor is a 1:1 scale grid that is based on fabric count. Then it can be used on the actual fabric. #CrossStitch
Hello again. I have now uploaded my #CrossStitch pattern software. I have fixed the false positive, but you will still have to let defender run it as I am an unknown developer. Remember it is an alpha release, so some bugs, not back stitch yet etc. github.com/Aethelstan20...
Release 0.11a · Aethelstan2000/Stituation-Critical
Fixed false positive for MS Defender

Can’t upload my software for people to try just yet, Microsoft defender is tagging it as a ‘settings modifier’ so it gets blocked. Trying to figure out why…
I built the alpha for StituationCritical, my #CrossStitch pattern editor. I’ll find somewhere to host it after I run through the shower. Hopefully people may find it useful, though be under no illusions, it still needs more work.
People can grow though. I can look back and know what a fucking idiot I was until I started making my own way in the world. But then again I still feel like a fucking idiot today.
Should I make a spreadsheet of floss colours so me and @aelfida.bsky.social know what colours we have?
Let’s make our own patterns then ❤️
So would anyone be interested in trying/testing the alpha release of my #CrossStitch pattern editor? I would appreciate some feedback on it. I will make it available for download at the weekend.

So clearly it is not good at teaching about allegories and metaphors if the religious take it literally.
I don’t understand this fess.
I’ve not really done anything other than work on the software. It’s a bit of a fun project for me, but will look at how to get the word out.
I’m adding a couple more little things and will do an alpha release at the weekend.
I’m currently writing the software 🤓
No stitching today for me, have been too exhausted. I did do some work earlier in the week on my pattern editor software. Here is my WIP pattern.
So because I couldn’t sleep last night, I ended up booking the day off work. Still don’t feel rested, but hopefully will sleep well tonight.
