And I hear you about having to bottle it up. You're in my age range, so you know exactly what it was like during a specific time frame to openly be a Sonic fan and what kind of attention and remarks that could net you.

I was hesitant to mention it, but yes, exactly! The state of the world right now should mean we should be embracing our interests more than ever, especially if it helps us in maintaining a steady dopamine drip, regardless of how little.

In my totally non-canon excuse to write porn, the tuft of fur on Laik's chest emits a chemical that riles up the sex drives of other species.

Why? Because I needed a very dumb, easy-to-explain reason for why everyone he meets, no matter the world, suddenly wants him to breed them.

I love seeing people my age publicly gush over their interests. Far too many people are too quiet about their interests; Like my guy, I am more enthusiastic now about Sonic the Hedgehog at 38 than I was when I was 7 back in 1993!

I'd probably have lost my mind had I seen this film as a kid, and I don't mean from the fact that Mathilda May spends 90% of the movie naked. The space vampires, the creature effects, the gore. All so good.
