Jumped into a D&D campaign for the first time since March w some badass LA nerd friends, new n old.

First impression was launching a gnome shot put style (to safety!)... Also, rolled a crit fail then a nat 20 IMMEDIATELY after.

[ Also mindlessly sketched a double headed axe wielding badger lord ]

The most Hollywood Mexican gig I’ve ever had yet.. a hell of a fun way to jump back into the chaos.

While chatting about horror films, Giger, good memories, etc, KC worked her magic. After recording, I ran errands the rest of the evening with her makeup still on--
Thanks to the masterful KC Mussman and the crew at Monster City Studios, my first voiceover and facial capture gig a few weeks after returning to LA in August was as a Dia de Muertos Calavera for the tequila bar Sinister Sips at Dark Harbor! The most Hollywood Mexican gig I’ve --

Another good update! Sharing some of what everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe helped me replenish, now that I’ve visited familia in AZ and finally got the things out from storage. Here’s pics of most of the books n things, art, and art supplies you helped me get. Thank you!

While visiting AZ, I unearthed my favorite painting created during high school...!
A project about your take on a classic artist or something, so I chose Georgia O'Keeffe. Love her haunting skulls in desertscapes.
Thank you for the birthday wishes last week! Feeling deeply grateful for my friends & community, been reflecting on past years.

I survived some intense things in this life, like we all have, or do, eventually. Wasn't supposed to make it past 2008, but I'm still here.

Finally posting this because time is a void. Aug, I last min threw together the thrift store stuff, hair hasn't been trimmed since spring, and just went for it. INFINITELY cooler looking people, creatures, & goblins alike--

Donning the thrift store dress and shoes I acquired during my recent travels, I last minute entered the realm of whimsy, talent, unabashed nerdery and joy- Labyrinth Masquerade. All thanks to the kindness of an amazing friend! Been attending most years since 2019, one of the best experiences in LA.
September was full of great memories. Also saw NIN finally.. The searing pain of my docs shredding my ankles while surviving the pit only added to the experience (rarely go out in my docs this year so I forgot to wear the right socks.. worth iit).

I only took a few photos n pics. Here's some:
More of this lil leafcutter bee I moved out of the path!

Now for some good updates.

As of Aug 8, I finally have a home again in LA. Thanks to your encouragement & support, I survived 2025 and was able to properly re-settle.

Sharing some of the neighborhood creatures Ive seen on walks. Hope they help cleanse your timeline a bit!

Got some pre-Annecy Festival boat-adventures in. Was about to whip it around 360 when one of the only other boats on the entire lake started steering directly towards my craft..!

What's a better time to post about the incredible friends & new people I met at Annecy Animation Festival in June than literally months later??

Pardise.
Immensely grateful for the kindness of friends & strangers, and for somehow surviving relentlessly soul-rending experiences this year. Was so close to giving in to despair, until landing in London and beginning this journey. Thank you.

Some glimpses of my solo exploration of the calm before the storm of Annecy Animation Festival.
What a dream. Full nights of restful sleep, feeling safe at all hours, napping under trees, exploring the expanse of the lake.. A sweeping sense of peace I haven't experienced in what feels like years.
-- just knew it would be wonderful getting to explore Annecy at all. A surreal, deeply inspiring night meeting some legendary creatives.

Grateful to know kind friends who include me in these events. Thank you. Annecy is over & I'm finally posting my experiences: www.instagram.com/stories/thea...
I left my chanclas in France..
Didn't think I'd be going to wild Annecy Festival castle parties like the one Netflix threw, so the only "fancy event shoes" I packed were my mom's comfy $7 chanclas (and now they're somewhere in Annecy..). Had no idea what to expect--

Adios, Annecy, the countless creative people I was lucky enough to meet, and friends I got to see again all the way out in France!

[Took myself on a solo boat venture a few days before anyone arrived & the chaos of the festival began]
Been at Annecy International Animation Festival. Nonstop pleasant and memorable experiences with incredible people, old friends and new. It's been unreal.

[Said hello to the lovely & talented @starghettis.bsky.social !]
Alright, finally posting some London-ventures.
I'm already at my next destination but been offline & taking 3 to 10 business days to post, hah.

Some moments from London I posted to my insta stories:

Completely unplanned coincident- the world's oldest goth club, Slimelight, had an event. just like last time I was in London. So of course I last min ventured out within hours of hearing about it..
