For the sake of comparison, here's a quick-and-dirty before and after. Significantly less background noise in the second clip. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMGm...
Audio test (JP8 vod first, new recording second)

I apologize for putting everyone through slightly worse audio for no good reason beyond my questionably-rational fear of breaking something, but hey, on the plus side, I've decided to re-do the recent Killer7 runs that had the bad audio, and more Killer7 is always good.
After months of my streaming desktop's fan being louder than usual and being too scared to actually open it (as I'm not too tech savvy), I finally got fed up and did what I should have done ages ago: clean the fan and reapply the thermal paste. Lo and behold, the problem is gone!
I have also made like a million Shield-Shields!
(Tears of the Kingdom) I realized a while ago that I can save certain items by fusing them to shields (since they don't break too often) and going to the "defusing" character whenever I need them. Right now, I have a certain bow fused to a shield, which is oddly hilarious to me.
The first run (Wein/Wrightson) is quite good on its own, but afterward, it's pretty funny how you can tell how the different writers were struggling to keep Swampy interesting, and little of it worked. It's a wonder that Pasko gave any threads for Moore since their run is mostly baffling.
No stream tomorrow. Funnily enough, my initial plans actually cleared up early last week only for something else to pop up. The next stream (assuming nothing else changes) will be part 1 of the annual Eternal Darkness stream this Friday 10/24.

I can confirm that for a video idea I have in the works, I will need 317 guests/cameo appearances to say a line of dialogue.

Any volunteers?
Not long ago, I saw someone use an archived link from a Gamergate clown (zero credibility ten years ago, let alone now) against an unquestionably rotten person, and I was flabbergasted by how they were undermining their own point by using that instead of literally anything else.
I won't claim to have any particular high ground as I'm as human as anyone else, but we could collectively improve social media on a foundational level if we were all just marginally more discerning about sources, especially when the same unreliable people keep popping up.

"I asked Grok" "I asked ChatGPT" Yeah, well, I asked Miss Jacob to predict the chain reaction of events necessary to trigger the appearance of the Last Shot Smile.
I don't mean to exaggerate, but the guy who first decided to make "Most Relevant" (or whatever algorithmic garbage) the default over a chronological feed may be one of the biggest villains in the history of mankind.
A little sad, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. I'm not in the market for a new gaming PC (yet), and I have no interest in a PS5, so it seems like that's settled. I have plenty more to play (including the first Let It Die), but maybe Inferno will stay alive for a few years.
I tried the Let It Die: Inferno demo, and learned exactly what I expected: I simply won't be able to play it. On my underpowered laptop, I chugged through cutscenes to get to laggy gameplay with second of input delay. No chance for it to work on my aging desktop, either. Oh well!
I'm downloading the demo to Let It Die: Inferno, and what do you mean the demo is ~40 GB what is going on here where did we go wrong
Naturally, I don't mind, since there are still lots of things to find on a second glance, but I will have to erase lots of stamps no matter what. Kind of wish there wasn't a stamp limit at all...
(Tears of the Kingdom) I hit the stamp limit (of 300!), and maybe have 50% of the overworld still left to explore (and even that number seems low), so here's the part where I run around the map retracing my steps to see what I meant by certain stamps and if I still need them.
