Shamefully, in 2025, thousands of children live in poverty in the United Kingdom, one of the richest nations. The gap between rich & poor is ever widening; combined wealth of 350 richest individuals is greater than GDP of several countries The rich keep getting richer by bleeding everyone else dry.

Yes! No child should go hungry - we are, as a rule, a generous nation and charities do so much to support those in need but at last the Govt is helping to feed the children and I am thankful for that. A big change from the last self-serving Govt.

I've lived in poverty my dad died leaving 4 children under 10, he could afford them my mam couldn't if there hadn't been government financial help we would have starved, 40+ yrs on l haven't forgotten many have, l feel we need to help children circumstances change and every child deserves a future.
