My main interest is the Sengoku-Jidai, specifically the period around 1540-1590. I play miniatures games in the period from large battles in 6mm down to small skirmishes in 28mm.
Museum model of Nagoya castle. Constructed in 1612, so really post-Sengoku Jidai. But everyone still uses this type of castle in wargames, and they do look impressive.

Fair do's, Picasso was rubbish.
Made a new mat for 6mm Crusades to suit the bases a bit better. Previous mat in last pic.
This is how I’m gonna look every time someone dislikes my posts

More 'The Silver Bayonet' in Japan. Bakufu yōkai investigators are on the trail of a metsuke who disappeared in a village which appears to be abandoned...

Heard you were getting into Hip Hop or something. Have to say, that's a pretty poor start.
Plastic? What were you thinking of?
The Duke of Cumberland was known as 'The Butcher' because he invented sausages.
Helluva run chase by India.
Switch on the cricket and Nikesh Rughani is talking about food as usual. Dread the day he's on commentary with Dan Norcross and they spend an hour talking about the lunches at Surrey.
I'm sure everything will be fine. I'm going out on the piss with the surgeon tonight, so I'll tell him to be especially careful tomorrow.
10mm AWI at the club tonight. All is peaceful on the shores of the Potomac. Until the British turn up to crack down on the crime wave that isn't happening there.
Thought I'd let the dog decide where we went for his walk today. He didn't have a clue what he was doing or where he was going, but steadfastly refused to listen to any advice to change direction. In the end it took an intervention just to get us back where we started.

It was like walking Liz Truss
It's the Madison at the world cycling champs. Reassuring that the commentators don't seem to know what's going on either.
As a British person I can only approve of smashing up the White House. Party like it's 1814.
Thankfully, I have never been Irish or stout. And rarely genuine.
Indeed. I wonder who this mysterious person could possibly be? Lord Lucan? Banksy? The real owner of Wargames Atlantic?
Hmm, I wonder who he**y@hen***yde.co.uk could be?
Good enough for them. Skulking in the back ranks thinking they'd be safe.
