So Dr. Demento had his last show, and immediately afterward, MTV decided to shut down several of its music channels. Finally, confirmation that Dr. Demento was the only thing keeping MTV going!

Just finished spinning Esquivel And His Orchestra – Infinity In Sound Volume 2 from 1961! I found it in a gift store called Whozitz and Whatzitz Unique Gifts and Cards. Recommended to Phoenix tourists, kitsch fans.

The record has a good cha-cha-ish La Bamba cover on it. Space Age Jazz is great.

"The Monster Mash" was on Dr. Demento's final episode this weekend. And also on in Target. I assume that's the only time in my life I heard anything on Dr. Demento anywhere but on Dr. Demento in the same week.

Famicom Warpman is not only cheap but an underrated early game. Lots of fun, I got mine in a lot of mixed cartridges a few years ago.

I can't even buy figures of that quality from anybody at $12 wholesale in 2025.

If people are willing to get Hasbro Epic Heroes levels of articulation, sure, but the complaints are many and loud.
