She doesn't know how she would've handled possible news of Gretta dying.. the pain and grief alone might've been enough to make her stop fighting back against her condition.

But she kept fighting. So she wasn't going to let Gretta give up and end things either.

She said, a hand, with a few IVs attached to her wrist and inner elbow, gently patting Acte's head.

Tears ran down her cheeks, as she closed her eyes and smiled at Acte. She knew, recovery was unlikely..

A soft chuckle was cut short by a cough, as Yume smiled at her from the hospital bed. She knew she likely wouldn't come out of the hospital again- it was a matter of waiting now.

"Silly.. if they kick you out, I'll get out and run after you.. but I'll tell them not to, don't.. worry.."

"A-acte..! T-thanks for coming.. I'm sorry I couldn't call you sooner.."

She said, a soft smile on her face as she looked up at her wife. A breathing mask covered the lower half of her face, making her voice sound much weaker, as well as her throat feeling rather dry and sore.
